About the Event
The Interventional Radiology ‘The Basics’ course is designed to introduce junior trainees and nonradiology doctors to this fascinating and diverse area of medicine that truly has to be seen to be believed! The Basic course allows delegates to get expert teaching and hands on guided sessions where you can begin to explore just what can be done through a small skin nick! This is delivered through a combination of lectures, tutorials and workshops with the focus on hands on learning. Delegates are introduced to basic IR concepts and provided with an opportunity to practice various procedures in a relaxed atmosphere. We use a state of the art simulators and a variety of phantom models. Our dedicated faculty is comprised of enthusiastic consultants, expert industry partners and senior trainees.
