NIHR National Pitching Competition
We will be running a national pitching competition as part of the event. Trainees & medical students are invited to submit a 60s video pitch for a new national audit idea in interventional radiology.
The top 5 pitches will present on the day, and compete for a national NIHR Surgical MedTech Co-Operative prize, £100 and the chance to lead their project on a national scale with the UNITE Research Collaborative. Full details available here.
Multi-disciplinary MDT Research Panel
The event features an innovative multi-disciplinary research MDT. We will be inviting representatives from trainee research collaboratives in oncology (NOTCH) and surgical specialties (STARSurg, VERN, BURST and BNTRC & NANSIG) to participate in a grand round talking about cross-specialty research collaborations.

The top pitches submitted for the pitching competition will present their idea to a panel of judges on our pan-specialty MDT panel.
